The boys celebrated
their second birthday today! It's amazing how quickly they have
grown up. Since the last site update, we took the boys to the
Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, to Sea World in Orlando and up to chilly
Chicago for a family gathering. Both boys are doing great and go
non-stop with their never-ending supply of energy. As you can see
from the pictures, they spend a lot of time smiling and are two very
happy little boys.

Christmas
Day 2005
December 25, 2005
The boys had a terrific Christmas day
(actually, their Christmas day spanned several days due to us
leaving for our family ski trip on Christmas day). They
spent one "Christmas Day" at Lori's parent's house,
one "Christmas Day" at Brad's parent's house, and
finally, one "Christmas Day" with Brad and Lori at
home. The boy's got tons of presents and had a lot of fun
tearing apart all of the packages.

This series of pictures features the boys
during the holiday season. It includes some general
pictures with the boys around the house and the boys playing in
the bathtub. The series also includes pictures from the
Pierce Family Cookie Bake as well as the boy's first visit with
Santa Claus.

Birmingham
Trip
October 30, 2005
They boys took their first trip away from
home! The boys did incredibly well on the plane - Landon
even got to fly! Lori attended Samford University, so we
attended their homecoming events while we were in Birmingham.

Pumpkin
Patch
October 18, 2005
We took the boys to a pumpkin patch for
their first Halloween! Boys boys were dressed in cat
outfits, complete with little tails and caps with ears.
Landon seemed to enjoy the experience, but Hunter was a little
bit scared of all the big pumpkins around him. At the end
of the picture sequence, you'll see that Hunter decides to steal
Landon's cap as he knocks him over. Landon may be older,
but Hunter is definitely the bigger brother when it comes to
strength. |

Seven
Months Old
October 17,
2005
Most of these pictures were taken with
Barbie and the girls (the boy's aunt and cousins). They
both really enjoy playing with their cousins who constantly
entertain them. There are also pictures of Landon's
"Helmet Club President" shirt and Hunter's
"Assistant to the President" shirt. These were
both made by their Aunt Mindy. Landon has a helmet that
he'll wear for the next three months due a flat spot on the back
of his head. This was caused by Hunter sitting on Landon
for eight months prior to being born. Landon actually
doesn't seem to mind the helmet at all, other than when he's
sleeping. He is supposed to wear it for 23 hours per day,
but we often take it off at night so that we all get a little
bit more sleep. |

Six
Months Old
September 10,
2005
Most of these pictures are taking around
the house. A few were taken in the plane as well when we
flew with the boys up to Ocala for lunch. Both of the boys
are becoming more active each day and are sitting up on their
own. Hunter is getting up on his hands and knees and
scoots back and fourth. It looks like he'll be crawling
very soon. Landon is just happy being a baby and staying
stationary for now. |

Blue

August 5,

We took the boys to Blue Genius
Photography to get some professional pictures of the boys and
family taken. The pictures turned out very well and were
organized into albums for each of the boys. |

Five
Months Old
July 25th,
2005
The boys turned 5 months old today
and are really becoming a lot of fun. They are both
smiling and laughing frequently. They also both have
started to discover their voices and like to 'yell' at each
other, the television, and at just about anyone who gets near
them. They both go crazy over the Baby Einstein videos and
are quite amusing to watch as they interact with the show.
Their arms and legs go wild as soon as the show comes on and
they start smiling and trying to talk to the television.
The boys also stay busy with the unique games they play.
Landon sucks on his pacifier, spits it out, then cries until you
put it back in. Within a matter of seconds, he repeats the
process. Hunter has a different game. He has
discovered how to roll over onto his stomach, although he hates
being on his stomach. So, he rolls over, decides he's not
happy, then cries until you roll him back over. Upon
rolling him back over, he repeats the process again within just
a few minutes. Both boys like to play their games all
night long while the rest of the world is sleeping. Very
entertaining, unless of course you want to sleep yourself!
They boys have also started on solid foods - what doesn't end up
on their stomach, clothes or face actually ends up in their
mouth. They boys also seem to have discovered each other
exists and like to look at one another. They just can't be
too close right next to one another - that tends to lead to
kicking and hitting which is soon followed by crying...
Nothing intentional, they just both get excited and throw their
arms and legs around. They boys are both learning new
things each day and seem like really happy babies. |

Father's
Day
June 19th,
2005
This section includes pictures up to and including their dad's
first Father's Day! They both continue to grow each day and
are developing their own personalities. Both boys love to smile and really enjoy
spending time outdoors. They especially like playing in their
yellow tube shown in the pictures. We spent lunch on Father's Day
over at Barbie's house along with the whole Pierce family. We then
went over to the Cronon's house for to have Father's Day dinner with
the boy's other grandparents. |

First
Flight
May 30th,
2005
The boys have started their journey to earning their wings.
At 5:30pm today, the boys lifted off for a quick trip around the Orlando area. They went
up to 1,500 feet, did a few circles, came back for a quick touch and go, then
returned to Orlando Executive Airport for landing. Brad flew the initial part of the flight
while family friend Rob held Hunter. Lori held Landon in the
back seat throughout the flight. Part way through the flight, Brad and Rob switched who
was flying and who was holding Hunter. Rob flew us safely back
to the airport and did a touch and go (landing on the runway then immediately taking off
again while still rolling). After another quick mid-air baby
and airplane control switch, Brad flew the plane back into the Orlando Executive
Airport and made an uneventful landing (a very good thing!). The boys did great throughout
the entire flight and seemed to enjoy the experience. They
were hot when we got back down on the ground, so we headed over to the airport
terminal to let them cool off a bit before dinner. |

Baptism
May 15th,
2005
The boys had their Baptism
today at All Saints Episcopal
Church in downtown Winter
Park. Along with the
congregation, about 20 friends
and family members witnessed
the ceremony which went
as smoothly as we could have
ever hoped. Both of the boys
were very good throughout
the service and didn't even
get upset when they had
water poured on them. We
followed the service by going
to brunch at Heathrow Country
Club in Lake Mary. This is the
first and probably the last
time you'll ever see either of
these boys in a gowns again! :) |

Eleven
Weeks Old
May 14th,
2005
They boys are growing more
and more each day! They are
starting to smile a lot more
and are able to turn their
heads and eyes when they
hear familiar voices. Both
boys are starting to play with
toys and Landon has become
especially fond of a dog
blanket - he really likes to
chew on it when he's not
smiling looking at it. Both
boys have recently been able
to roll over from their
stomach to their back. They
have begun to have more and
more outings and recently
went along with mom and dad
to their first restaurant. They
have had several more
outings since then and they
always seem to draw a lot
of attention wherever we
take them. |

Seven
Weeks Old
April 18th,
2005
It's been seven weeks since
the boys were born! And yes,
it's been a BUSY seven weeks!
The boys (and parents) are
starting to get into a 'normal'
routine. They both like to
stay up late at night and
sleep during the day. There
is a rumor that they may
get this from their father!
They've started to get out
and about and have made
several trips to see their
friends at the executive
airport, Restaurant Equipment
World, and a few restaurants
in town. Lori and Brad
have managed to get a few
restful nights with the help
of family members who
have stayed over to help
feed the boys at all hours
of the night. Both boys are
becoming much more alert
and are very healthy. |

One
Month Old
March 27th,
2005
The boys are finally one
month old! (Actually, they
were a month old two days
ago, but we're running on
baby time, so we a little
bit behind updating the
site). It's been a busy
month, with many visits to
the pediatrician to make
sure the little guys are
growing like they should.
Landon was suffering from
reflux, but now is on medicine
and is finally starting to gain
weight. Hunter eats constantly
and is now up to 7lbs 4 oz.
Both babies have made a
pact to stay on complete
opposite schedules, which
makes sleep for the parents
something from the past.
We are hoping that they
get on a 'normal' schedule
sometime soon! The boys
have had a whole lot of
visitors throughout the month
and have been enjoying all
the attention and cuddling. |

Finally
Home
March 10th,
2005
We're finally back home
after a false start (Lori was
rushed back to the hospital
a few days ago due to
surgical complications but
is now back home recovering
quickly). Hunter and Landon
are eating more than ever
and have had quite a few
visitors lately, especially
while their mother was back
in the hospital. We've had
visits from aunts, uncles,
great aunts, grandparents,
great grandparents and
many others. Today, on the
way to the pediatrician, they
took their first field trip to
Restaurant Equipment World
where they got to meet the
staff. Both boys and their
mother are all doing great. |

Day
4
March 1st,
2005
It's finally time for us to
say goodbye to our good
friends at Arnold Palmer
Hospital. The car ride home
with mom and grandpa
went very smoothly. The
boys and their (very tired)
parents are now at their
new home safe and sound. |

slept much yet, but are
planning to sometime a
